Multinational Companies Illustrate Commitment to Ethics Programs

Users of Software Impressions’ EthicsAdvantage® Attend Customer Advisory Group Meeting

Hartford, CT – May 10, 2007 - Ethics and Compliance have become driving issues within small to large companies worldwide. Many corporations take a proactive approach and bring ethics initiatives to the forefront of C-level discussions. Unfortunately, others log it as an agenda item for discussion but rarely do much to address the issues. Software Impressions (SI), a software company that develops a compliance and ethics management product suite, assists proactive companies in their vision to create aggressive compliance and ethics initiatives. In tandem with delivering their software solution, SI has collaborated with key customer liaisons responsible for compliance and ethics functions, to form a Customer Advisory Group designed to further the cause of outstanding corporate ethics.

“Compliance and Risk organizations are most effective when they not only manage the data associated with their responsibilities but also visually portray that data to their management and their Board of Directors.” Said Pat Gnazzo, SVP, Business Practices and Chief Risk and Compliance Officer, CA Inc. “The SI Customer Advisory Group brings compliance and risk professionals together with a mission to enhance best practices and better achieve that reporting capability to our management and our Board of Directors. Software Impressions products enable my organization to manage the data associated with our area of responsibility and give us the reporting capability to effectively represent that data to all concerned.”

The Advisory Group attendance for this meeting was composed of 22 participants from 10 companies. These company experts are already chiefly responsible for developing and executing compliance and ethics programs within their organizations. The attendees participate as peers and colleagues in the discussion of topics such as “Best Practices in Documenting Effective Investigations” and on similar issues that are paramount to the trust levels of investors and customers.

The May meeting covered cover general industry trends, regulations and developments in the area of risk assessment, as well as the introduction of new products and new functionality for the case management system, EthicsAdvantage.
