With an engagement to create a case management system to help United Technologies Corporation (UTC) to manage its corporate ethics compliance function, things began to change. Change has come fast and furiously since then.
The project for UTC led to the development of a specialized case management system designed to support the needs of ethics offices and other compliance professionals. Software Impressions today provides that system, known as EthicsAdvantage™ (www.ethicsadvantage.com), to a host of other major corporations, including Starbucks, Verizon Business and Altria, to support management of an ethical corporate culture and to facilitate transparency throughout the organization all the way up to the board of directors.
Responding to surging demand for its unique offering, Software Impressions recently relocated to new offices, at 21C Arts Center Court in Avon. "We were looking for a place that would give us room to grow from the four people we started with to twenty or more within the near future," said company principal and managing director Mike Daigle. "Finding a space that would reflect the creative nature of our development team and would encourage a collaborative, communicative environment were priorities. We found all that and more in Ensign Bickford Realty's Avon Park North."
Having recently expanded its team with new sales and software development talent, Software Impressions has begun building a customer service organization and will continue expansion in its other functional areas. "We are delighted to be in job creation mode, especially in a region so rich with a talented population from which to select new members of our team," said Rick Spear, the company's other principal and managing director.
